Beskrivelse
The JENZ BA 916 D is a heavy-duty shredder tailored for high-performance shredding of organic waste, biomass, wood, and roots, ideal for compost, bark, and fuel production. Driven by a powerful MTU-sourced 390 kW (530 HP) diesel engine, it achieves rotor speeds over 1,100 rpm to deliver finely homogenous output – even with challenging materials like manure or pre-crushed roots. The BA 916 D supports both free‑swinging and fixed hammer setups (16 or 32 per rotor), along with interchangeable two-piece screening baskets, allowing you to optimize output size and material type on the fly. Built with operator convenience in mind, the shredder features a swivelling outfeed conveyor for easy chamber access during maintenance and tool changes. The JENZ IPS (Impact Protection System) detects foreign objects, disengages the rotor, and reverses the feed to prevent equipment damage. Ergonomic control systems include the “easy2TOUCH” display and remote radio control, plus LED alerts and maintenance aids like toolbox integration and compressed-air access – all designed to reduce downtime and boost productivity. The BA 916 D is available in tracked and wheeled hook-lift versions, offering mobility to suit a wide range of operational environments.
